How it works
Net hours = elapsed shift time − unpaid break. Enter time as a decimal: 9.5 means 09:30. This version supports shifts shorter than 24 hours, including overnight shifts.
Worked example
Starting at 9:00 and finishing at 17:30 with a 30-minute break gives 8 working hours. Enter 17.5 for 17:30.
